Comments can now be added to widgets, including the ability to display existing comments, submit new comments, or both. Comments can be added via the usual "Features" process in the widget wizard, and will appear on widget content profile pages just as they do on MassPublisher.com
- Truly Public Comments. Anyone can now submit comments, whether logged in or not. This means that both MassPublisher.com and your widgets can add social features like comments without requiring your viewers to be members of MassPublisher (although that would be nifty). A captcha is used in these cases to prevent comment spam.
- Account Communities / Page. There is now an "Account Community" (name may change) under the Community tab for your default account profile, so that you can view and moderate all comments on all of your content in one place.
- User's Comments / Page. There is now a page for users under "Communities" where you can see all of the user's public and non-anonymous comments.
- Improved Site & Widget Performance. We've upgraded our servers so that overall performance on the site and on widgets has nearly doubled, meaning your stuff is now delivered between 1.5x and 2.5x faster than before!
- Various Fixes and Enhancements. Numerous other fixes and enhancements were also made.
Changed Site Behavior - Changes to Comments & Community Pages. All related pages have been updated and reformatted for ease of viewing and administration.
