A maintenance and speed update, great new features and a smile
Published Apr 19, 2010 GMT

MassPublisher.com has been updated as of April 19, 2010 to include the following changes:

New Features and Functionality:

  • Vulgar Word Filtering (v1). We have implemented the first release of a word filtering solution, which allows you to enable a multi-level word filtering solution for your own content (e.g., Jobs) and/or user-generated content (e.g., Comments). In this release, you have access to only the system filter, and only for English words and phrases. Custom filtering options will be available in the future.
  • Widget Embedding Options. You can now select which embedding options to enable. These include the availability of system themes, your themes, resizing, and server-side embedding (an advanced feature).
  • Beta / Limited Release API (Beta). We are in the process of building a generally available API.  This release is for limited beta customer testing only.
  • Various Fixes and Enhancements. Many other minor things were changes or improved.

Changed Site Behavior & Other Changes

  • Site Speed Improvement. We have implemented memcached and other enhancements to improve both site and widget performance.
  • Various Changes. Site appearance and behavior may have changed in minor ways.

We hope this improves your user experience. If you have any questions or concerns, please let us know!
