2007 Estate Chalk Hill Chardonnay
In 1965, our founder Rod Strong was the first to plant chardonnay in what would later be recognized as the Chalk Hill American Viticultural Area (AVA), established officially in 1983. He recognized the region as distinct from the rest of Russian River Valley for its unique chalky white soils, which impart a subtle mineral character to wines grown there. 2007 Estate Charlotte's Home Sauvignon Blanc
Rod Strong established our heritage sauvignon blanc vineyard in 1971, naming it Charlotte's Home in honor of his wife. Today that vineyard remains the core of our Charlotte's Home sauvignon blanc, along with other select estate vineyards in the Alexander Valley as well as the Russian River Valley. 2006 Sonoma - Napa County Syrah
"The color is dark black cherry. In the nose there are hints of earth, spices and black cherries. It is elegant and medium bodied with excellent balance. The flavors are dark fruits with a spicy finish, which is smooth and long. This wine is approachable now but will continue to develop for a couple of years."

2006 Three Sons Cuvee Pinot Noir
This rich and lovely wine is clearly youthful, but it is already impressive to the nose, offering an aromatic display that includes smoke, dark cherry, strawberry, sumac, dried red rose, pencil shavings and cigar box spices. In the mouth it proves just as rich in body and full flavored as the aromas suggest. The finish is long and it reveals some tannic firmness, making it all too clear that this beauty is not fully evolved, although it is delicious enough already that present drinking will not ...

This young Pinot is complex and full of flavor with a long, lingering finish. It is tightly wound now but will relax with a little time in the bottle. Patient cellaring over the next three to ten years will be rewarded."
